The World is Close to a Coronavirus Pandemic – How Can We Stop It

The coronavirus keeps spreading terror throughout the world, and humanity needs urgent measures. The virus is spread and manifests itself mostly like flu. Therefore, you should always wash your hands after going outside and avoid touching your face after having contact with unknown people and objects.

Just as if things weren’t bad enough, a federal health official recently warned that the coronavirus could cause some great disruptions in the USA. Nancy Messonnier, who is director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, detailed at a conference how the disruptions could be: mass public gatherings suspended, schools closed, and increased remote labor.

The pandemic is looming

Melissa Nolan, who is a doctor and professor of epidemiology at the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health, stated something very worrying for us all:

If we continue to see focalized local transmission in areas outside of China, the WHO will need to reconvene,

We are very close to seeing this virus becoming a pandemic.

Any solution?

Nolan also said that the responses to the outbreaks of the virus from Iran and Italy could give the world new useful ideas. Thus, health officials from other countries can prepare their own medical and quarantine policies before another outbreak will occur.

Laboratories throughout the world are desperately trying to develop a vaccine to stop the deadly virus. Donald Trump requested more than $1 billion for developing a vaccine for coronavirus. Hopefully, a vaccine will be created soon because let’s remember that we live in a world that wishes to build colonies on other planets, has highly-intelligent robots, and so on. The development of a vaccine for coronavirus is practically imminent.

Until now, there are reported 80,425 Cases of people infected with coronavirus, and 2,712 have died because of it. But another good news is that the human body can successfully fight with the virus, therefore getting infected with it is not automatically a death sentence.
