Pokemon Go will Add Online Battles in 2020

Three years have passed since Pokemon Go was released, but the AR video game has remained popular, with millions of active players each month.

Niantic has kept the game fresh with a selection of updates, and the developer has been hard at work. One of the major updates added PvP battles, offering a fresh activity for competitive Trainers. The biggest drawback of the feature is the fact that that you can only battle other players when they are near to you in real life, but it seems that a new update will solve this issue

Go Battle League

Niantic has announced an upcoming feature in the form of the Go Battle League, an online PvP mode that lets players that challenge each other even if they live in opposite corners of the world.  The announcement is not accompanied by many details, but Niantic mentions that players will be able to challenge other Trainers.
