Alien Space Probes Could Visit Us Completely Undetected, Says A Study

Humans have imagined encountering extraterrestrial life for centuries and had been making countless SF movies and cartoons about a subject like that. Some people think an advanced life form would simply come to us and shake hands; others think aliens might come and shoot us with laser guns. But how many of you ever considered the idea that aliens might roam and explore our planet completely undetected?

As crazy as it may sound, this is the idea proposed by astrophysicist Zaza Osmanov of Tbilisi State University in Georgia. This guy thinks that super-advanced alien civilizations are visiting other planets using tiny space robots that measure just a single nanometer.

They have to be there somewhere

Considering that the Universe is outrageously big, about 96 billion light-years in diameter, it would be naive to think that the only planet hosting life is our own. Perhaps all astronomers agree with this, as well as anybody who has any idea about how vast the Cosmos is. But the ultimate question arises: why haven’t we encounter the aliens?

As long as we hope to find aliens only via big and shiny UFO’s, we just might have looked for aliens the wrong way.

“The conventional approach to the search for extraterrestrial intelligence implies the search for artificial radio signals, or interstellar beacons targeted at the Earth,” Osmanov says.

“But…the mentioned method strongly restricts the search.”

Osmanov claimes that nano-robots controlled by aliens could easily replicate themselves into a swarm numbering trillions of billions.

“All the results indicate that if one detects a strange object with extremely high values of luminosity increment, that might be a good sign to place the object in the list of extraterrestrial Von-Neumann probe candidates,” Osmanov wrote.

“We have considered the scenario when the Type-II civilization needs to ‘invade’ the interstellar clouds by means of the self-reproducing robots.

“And it has been shown that this process will inevitably lead to the observational consequences.”

After all, the Universe has proven itself to be loaded with surprises even since we humans first started to explore nature beyond our own planet. Therefore, no-one can tell for sure what stunning and truly out of this world capabilities another civilization might have.

Please tell the world if you have ever seen any alien through your microscope.
